Takes the edge off tequila | 4 out of 5 stars

Even if you’re not a huge tequila fan, the Margarita can be a great drink. It has all the elements of a tequila shot (tequila, lime, and salt) plus a nice sweetener (triple sec) to take the edge off.
For a fun alternative, try Blue CuraƧao instead of triple sec!

I really don’t like tequila, but I find Margarita’s to be very nice. You can play around with the recepie too:

  • Use sugar instead of salt on the rim
  • Add anything sweet: fruit juice, sour mix, etc.
  • Substitute peach schnapps for the triple sec
