ingredients

1 part Gin
1 part Triple Sec
1 part Lemon Juice
12 tsp. Sugar

instructions

Shake with ice, strain, and serve in an old-fashioned glass. Confectioners(powdered) sugar works best. Alternatively you can replace the lmeon juice and sugar with sour mix; this makes a sweeter drink.

Traditionally made with no sugar, it is typically served sweetened today. Experiment with different amounts of sugar.

Use a clean gin (e.g. beefeater) for best results.

Serve in a Old Fashioned/Rocks/Whiskey Glass

Refreshing and Strong | 4 out of 5 stars

Make it with fresh lemon juice, and its like an alchoholic lemonade. Very refreshing for a summer afternoon’s BBQ.
